Art direction Eigen Huis & interieur

As art director of Eigen Huis & Interieur, I oversaw the visual style of the magazine—from the cover to the layout of the editions. During that period, the magazine was awarded a Mercur for Art Direction of the Year 2012.
At the same time, I was responsible for the design of More Than Classic, the sister publication that appeared every other month.

In addition to the magazines, I worked on a wide range of brand extensions: campaign images for the Woonbeurs (trade fair), presentations during Dutch Design Week, window displays at De Bijenkorf, shop interiors, and posters.

The brand also got a new look digitally. I designed an interactive iPad magazine that translated the visual power of the magazine to a digital platform – with an eye for navigation, rhythm, and experience. In addition, I developed the design for the Eigen Huis & Interieur collection webshop, where editorial design, product selection, and brand image came together in a consistent visual line.
